During the COVID-19 epidemic, there are various stressors at work, school, home, and even in our relationships. Finding time to care for our mental health may appear to be a near-impossible task. We've all experienced feelings of exhaustion or depleted at some point in our lives. Adapting to the "new normal" with new restrictions and policies changes every fortnight, the struggles and challenges just seemed to come in waves. Talking to a psychotherapist, a qualified professional who can help you process your life events together, or visiting a mental health professional to attain mental wellbeing are two options for keeping oneself in check.

The National University Health System's (NUHS) Mind Science Centre conducted a Workplace Resilience Survey with 1407 respondents in May and June 2020. According to the survey, 61 percent of individuals working from home reported feeling stressed, compared to 53% of front-line workers. When compared to those on the front lines of the pandemic (e.g., healthcare professionals), more participants in the work-from-home group (51 percent) reported feeling stressed at home (32 percent) In addition, women are more likely than men to report being anxious at work and at home.

A Mental Resilience Survey was also conducted with 1849 respondents, and the results revealed that Singaporeans under the age of 45 are more likely to report feeling nervous than their older counterparts aged 45 and up. They may also be less mentally resilient than the older folks.

Even though many of us have come to terms with the current pandemic situation, we still face numerous challenges related to the pandemic. Many of us may be exhausted or eve burnt out when we transition to hybrid working arrangements. Here are some self-care routines that you can incorporate into your daily routine.
