Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines principles of mindfulness with elements of cognitive behavioral therapy. This program generally takes place in a group setting and lasts about eight weeks. At the end of the program, you will be able to identify early warning thoughts or feelings that might signal a worsening of symptoms and helps you map out steps to get you back on track, such as deliberate relaxation techniques.

Mindfulness-Based Relationship Enhancement

Mindfulness-based Relationship Enhancement (MBRE) is a set of techniques used with couples who are already content with each other (e.g. not in distress) to help strengthen their coping skills related to stress. Every couple will face life challenges and stressors in their lifetime. As these difficult periods emerge, it is helpful for couples to have this set of skills to promote positive and adaptive strategies. The benefits of MBRE will help lower relationship stress, improve sense of well-being, greater relationship satisfaction, strengthened empathy and improve communication skills.

At the end of the program, you will be happy and less judgmental and critical of themselves, as well as others. Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention

Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) practices are designed to help people become more aware of triggers, detrimental behavioral patterns, and "automatic" reactions that seem to run our life. The evidence-based alternative to the status quo in recovery, notably 12-step relapse prevention programs, is mindfulness-based relapse prevention. While 12-step programs are widely accepted as having a place in modern recovery, a research published in The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) indicated that mindfulness Recovery strategies were much more effective than traditional strategies. MBRP breaks addiction and recovery into the two largest (by far) predictors for relapse: negative thoughts and cravings.

Mindfulness-Based Foundation Course

Mindfulness Foundation Course (MFC) is an eight-week evidence-based program that provides secular, rigorous mindfulness training to help those who are suffering from stress, anxiety, despair, or pain. By practicing mindfulness, it may have direct benefits throughout the body by reducing the stress response. Mindfulness has been discovered to regulate two different stress pathways in the brain, altering brain structures and activity in areas related to attention and emotion regulation.

Mindful Parenting

This program will allow you to be freed from being controlled by your emotions, mindful parenting involves bringing your conscious attention to what's going on. Mindfulness is about letting go of previous guilt and shame and focusing on the present moment. Accepting what is going on rather than trying to change or ignore it is the key. Being a mindful parent entails paying attention to your emotions. It does not preclude you from becoming furious or agitated. Of course, you'll have negative emotions, but acting on them without thought harms our parenting.

Mindful Eating

Mindful Eating (ME) is a mindfulness-based approach to eating. Mindfulness is a type of meditation that teaches you how to detect and manage your emotions and bodily sensations. It's used to treat a variety of problems, including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and a variety of food-related behaviors. When it comes to eating, ME is all about utilizing mindfulness to pay full attention to your feelings, appetites, and physical indicators.

Mindful Self Compassion

Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) is an 8 week course that has been scientifically proven to help people develop the ability of self-compassion. MSC was developed by Christopher Germer, PhD, a leader in the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy (www.chrisgermer.com). MSC is a journey—a self-discovery and self-kindness quest. Self-compassion has the contradictory effect of calming our emotional misery while also exposing the anguish we may have been hiding inside unintentionally for years. As a result, difficult emotions, such as past trauma, are likely to surface during the program. MSC instructors are dedicated to ensuring that participants are safe and comfortable throughout the training. Participants, on the other hand, acknowledge up front that they will be solely responsible for their emotional well-being.
